Cooling Face Masks for After-Sun Skin

Bio-cellulose is not a fabric, it is a naturally fermented material grown through a process that produces an ultra-fine network of nanofibers. Originally developed for clinical wound healing, it was adopted by dermatologists as the gold standard for skin treatment because of one exceptional property: it holds up to 100x its weight in water.

In summer skincare, this matters significantly. When applied to sun-exposed skin, bio-cellulose:

• Lowers skin temperature on contact the high water content creates an immediate cooling effect without any synthetic cooling agents
• Adheres to every curve of the face with zero air gaps maximising contact between the formula and the skin

The difference from other sheet masks is significant:

For best results in summer specifically:

• After beach days or prolonged sun exposure use immediately after cleansing while skin is still warm
• Before events: 20 minutes before getting ready for an instant glow and cooling effect
• After travel: long flights dehydrate the skin significantly. Apply on the plane or immediately after landing
• Weekly maintenance: 1–2 times per week throughout summer to maintain barrier strength and hydration levels

Always apply to clean skin after cleansing. Do not rinse after removing, pat the remaining serum directly into the skin and follow with moisturiser to seal in the actives.
